Post-Secondary School Scholarship
The NGBSC is pleased to offer an annual education scholarship.
The applicant must be a high school senior OR presently enrolled as a full-time student at an academic or vocational post-secondary school. The applicant’s parent/guardian must be an individual, military or civilian, who currently or previously held a full time position with the National Guard Bureau (NGB) in the VA / MD / DC area or remotely in one of the following categories:
a. Title 10 Active Guard Reserve (T10 AGR) Army or Air National Guard assigned to the
NGB or representing the NGB in the National Capital Region
b. Active Army or Air Force personnel assigned to the NGB
c. Retired from the T10 AGR program with the NGB
d. Deceased personnel (military or civilian) who held a previous assignment with the NGB
e. Civilian personnel (GS / NSPS civilians only)
Applications will not be accepted from previous recipients of a scholarship award from NGBSC (or as previously titled, NGBOSC or NGBWC).
Scholarship funds will be awarded through the post-secondary institution’s financial aid office to be used for educational needs including tuition, books, and related fees.
